I chose Henry Ford as the "Maker". Ford had grown up on a farm were he started to have interest in mechanical items. He seemed to be an educated young driven man. I think we can all say that Ford was a smart business man and smart. The research that I discovered on Ford was he did not really improve our education system. We all know what he has done for us in the world of automotive, however he is a business man. I believe innovator's try to find ways to improve our education system and school. The "Makers are great business people, however their focus is not how to improve public schools. Makers focus on, How can we make more money? Would you say they are selfish not wanted to improve the schools? I believe it would be selfish because they do not have the desire to improve schools. For the "Makers" it is about profit and what is the bottom line.
